Mr. George Moore

Hi everyone,

I am  teaching Chemistry and Physics this year . The physical sciences are extremely important to developing quantitative reasoning skills in conjunction with verbal skills regardless of a students interest.  Both courses fulfill the lab requirement of  UC/ CSU  a-g requirements. My goal is to lead students through the often tricky mathematical world of  Chemistry and Physics through reading, collaborating and experimenting and problem solving .Sometimes all on the same day.   Students need to have a Scientific Calculator, a Notebook  and a willingness to show their thinking by showing their work, taking notes, and doing assignments in the format  expected for a college prep course.  Listen and Do and Practice,  Practice, and Review. This year or notebook will be a main tool that is used interactively and daily.
