Margaret Lowry

Hi, my name is Ms. Lowry and I happy to be teaching Health here at Hayward High School.  I believe  HEALTH is WEALTH!  I would like to help students to realize that health is not just about what you eat and how much movement you do, but just as important is keeping fit emotionally and mentally.   The relationships you create and maintain effect your well being.  How much you use your brain (keep your mind fresh and useful) effects your well being. Other important factors to maintaining good health are;  Proper hygiene, avoiding dangerous behaviors, being honest with yourself and others, constructive ways of dealing with stress, developing support systems, and letting go of people in your life that cause you problems.  We talk about much of this and more in Health class.
