    Orchestra

    CLASS DESCRIPTION:

    Orchestra students will learn performance technique, rehearsal and performance etiquette, and musical theory, vocabulary, and concepts.  Orchestra students will be presented with musical literature that represents different cultures, styles, and periods of music that is appropriate for their level of ability.  They will have the opportunity to perform in school concerts, community events, as well as compete at festivals.
