Diane Kevern

Hello everyone. I am a resource specialist and the Special Education department chairperson.  It is my goal for all students with disabilities to be successful in the least restrictive environment possible. I have a formal learning center period 0.  Period 2 I teach Basic Math.  The rest of the day I am available to provide students with academic support in the general ed. classrooms (push-in) or in my room, a learning center (pull-out). I encourage students to be advocates for themselves, determining when they need assistance and when they can truly do it on their own.  I encourage parents to contact me with any concerns regarding their student. I also encourage parents to play an active role in their student's education.  Keep in touch with his/her teachers and the attendance office for regular progress reports.  As this page develops you may find links to helpful resources.
