Michael Tolbert

Feel free to call me Mr. T. I was born and raised in the East Bay where “creativity” is expected and acceptance is a social norm. I went to high-school back east (Deerfield Academy) and then returned to do my undergrad at Berkeley (English) and my grad’-work at New College (Poetics, MA). I have taught, with delight, both highschool and college classes. In my off time I enjoy writing, yoga, climbing, salsa (dance and food) and a smooth cup of coffee or a stiffly steeped pot of green T.
