Lorena Maldonado

I am excited to join Hayward High School for the 2022-2023 school year. I began working in education when I was 18 years old. I have been a para educator, an ABA therapist, a General Education teacher in Guatemala, and a Special Education teacher. I joined HUSD in 2018 in the Special Education Services department, and I am excited to be a part of the Hayward high community this year. I am currently pursuing a PhD in education from Northcentral University. In my free time I like to read, travel, find new restaurants, and go to sporting events. I look forward to working with the staff and the community to support all our students.
